You have
to install the extension named Facebook Chat Notification.
You will
receive a desktop notification of new chat messages from your facebook even if
you're away from your browser.
It will
remove duplicate notifications when more than one Facebook tab opened.
Clicking on
the popup notification window will now put focus on your Chrome browser and the
facebook tab.
Note : You must be
logged into your facebook for this extension to detect your chat messages.
