How to remove the shortcut arrows placed in shortcut icon in Windows desktop

Generally we create shortcut for a folder or file or for a program for quick access to those. But whenever we create that shortcut we find a arrow ike structure just below the beautiful icon. Which don't looks beautiful. So we should remove that arrow symbol from the Icon. Here is the process to do so. Here we will do the same by editing the registry.

1. Open registry editor by type regedit in run
2. Now navigate to "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile" folder.
3. Select the "IsShortcut" registry key in the right side pane and delete it.
4. Now again navigate to "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile" folder.
5. Select the "IsShortcut" registry key in the right side pane and delete it.
6. Now close the registry editor.
7. Now restart or reboot your computer.
After restart you will not find the arrow on the shortcut icon placed on desktop.
This process works on all the operating system of windows.
