How to disable registry editor with registry


Warning: Be careful with this setting because once you enter this key into the registry you will not be able to use Regedit to undo the change. Consider wisely before using this modification so that you do not lock yourself out of the registry.

Open your registry by goto RUN and type Regedit

Navigate to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\

Create a new DWORD value by right click and select the New>DWORD

Rename the value into DisableRegistryTools

Right click the file and select the modify.. and give the value data into 1

Restart Windows for the change to take effect.
